Travis Kelce overextended his knee before the Chiefs' first game of the season against the Lions. Noah Gray's place could be taken by Blake Bell.

Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, hyperextended his knee during practice on Tuesday. He may not be able to play in Thursday night's season opener against the Detroit Lions.

Kelce has been to seven Pro Bowls and won four All-Pro awards. Since his rookie year in 2013, he hasn't missed a game because of an injury. Seven years in a row, he has had more than 1,000 yards catching.
